Wow! What a busy week we have ending with a lovely day on Friday. I was very proud of year 4, its not easy performing in front of a large audience but they rose to the challenge brilliantly. Their confidence has grown significantly over the past year and this was born out today. They sung well and looked fabulous. Well done.
I hope you all enjoyed our lovely art exhibition. I thought Year Four looked great. The t-shirts will last if you can iron them BEFORE you wash them. This will set the fabric paint. I would recommend you don’t wash them with anything else to start with just in case the colour runs. Thank-you for your support over this last half term and have a lovely half term.
Our guitar sessions are going well.
We had a great day on Thursday at Colfox, playing golf with 12 other primary schools. The children were a credit to the school and Mrs Tschuchno and I were very proud of them. We didnt win but as Alfie said ‘Its about competing not winning’. Check out the photos below.
Sorry we haven’t blogged much since Christmas, we have been very busy! Which means we have lots to tell you.
Please take a look at the pictures below to have a sneak peak of blog posts coming soon from the children.
Please check back for blog posts about these activities!
We have been busy making snowmen to sell at the Christmas Fair. They are made from chocolate and sugar paste so completely edible. As you can imagine, the children had great fun customising their particular snowman. The children can reserve them now for £2.00 each or buy them at the fair. On Wednesday afternoon I believe there will be another fall of snow!
Thank-you all so much for coming to our afternoon, the children enjoyed showing you their work. I know on Monday morning they will be thrilled to see all your comments on the blog.
Year four will be holding their open afternoon on Friday 2nd December at 2.15. The children are eager to show you what they have been learning over the past term so please join us if you can. There may be biscuits!
Our first week of blogging has been a great success. The children are so keen to blog they keep bringing in blogs written at home to post! A big thank-you to all the parents who commented on their posts. Our mornings now start with a quick check to see if anyone has commented!
Welcome to our first ever blogging session. The children have been really excited about using the site and are keen to share their working week with you. Each week 6 different children will have the opportunity to post on the site so please keep visiting us. They are very keen to see your responses so if you have a few spare minutes please do reply.
